NOAH provides information to its members and to the outside world.
The association produces and circulates information and advice to members
about the ever changing legislative environment in which they operate. It
also alerts them to opportunities or concerns expressed by other
organisations or through the media. Publishing papers, briefing documents
and books, organising conferences, seminars and meetings, it is easy to see
the educational role NOAH performs for its members.
NOAH also provides educational material for animal medicine end-users,
such as vets, farmers and pet owners. A key information source is the
NOAH
Compendium of Data Sheets for Animal Medicines, available online at
www.noahcompendium.co.uk and published annually in
book form. NOAH also
provides educational information on the animal health industry to the
general public.
High standards of
training and
professional conduct for the promotion of
and provision of information about animal medicines are required by NOAH of
its member companies, in addition to the very stringent legal requirements.
