about NOAH

The animal health industry is dedicated to providing safe, effective, quality medicines for the treatment and welfare of all animals, large or small. The National Office of Animal Health represents the companies that research, develop, manufacture and market licensed animal health products in the UK.

The association currently has 31 corporate members and 10 associate members. In 2006 NOAH’s members accounted for £373.2 million of sales, representing around 90% of the UK animal health market.

NOAH was formed on 1 January 1986 to replace the Animal Health Register of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry, which dated back to 1955.
