Norbrook Laboratories Limited: A Correction and Apology

At page 8 of the NOAH 2001-2002 Review, the Code of Practice Committee reported that a member company (the reference was to Norbrook Laboratories Limited) had challenged the Code of Practice in the High Court. We wish to make it clear that Norbrook did not challenge the Code, but merely the Secretary's interpretation of it. We understand that Norbrook Laboratories Limited strongly supports the Code and the system of self-regulation in the veterinary medicines industry. We regret and apologise for any embarrassment that may have been caused to Norbrook Laboratories Limited by the description of the litigation referred to in the 2001-2002 Review.
