OP Sheep Dips: VPC Decision

The Veterinary Products Committee has agreed to manufacturers' proposals for the interim redesign of OP dip packs, "subject to satisfactory resolution of outstanding issues identified by the Committee".

"Manufacturers will continue to work very hard to satisfy these new requirements, to ensure that the newly packaged products will be available as soon as possible, with the addition of a vented tap," said a NOAH spokesperson. "We hope that soon farmers will once again have access to the full range of products, so they can choose the one best for the health and welfare of the sheep on their own particular farms."

Manufacturers will give more precise details in due course on when the products are likely to be back, added NOAH.
