The 2007 edition of the NOAH Compendium of Data Sheets
for Animal Medicines is close to publication. The full version will be sent
to vet practices in December, and NOAH is asking any new practice, or
practice that has changed address since January to tell them their details,
if they have not already done so. Extra copies
are also available to order now, for £35.
Once again, NOAH is also producing two special editions
for SQPs, which exclude POM-V medicines. AMTRA has commissioned these
publications and will send the appropriate one to each person registered on
its SQP lists.
There is a version with all non-POM-V medicines,
primarily for merchant SQPs, and a slimmer version containing just the
companion animal and equine non-POM-V medicines, for SQPs able to supply the
equine and/or companion animal medicines – which now includes increasing
numbers of veterinary nurses who have gained the SQP qualification.
But NOAH predicts its use will be wider. “The companion
animal and equine edition will be of great value to community pharmacists
who are entering the companion animal medicine market,” said NOAH chief
executive Phil Sketchley.
Copies of these additional
versions will be available from NOAH for £10, in the New Year. See
www.noah.co.uk or
www.noahcompendium.co.uk for more details.
