The National Office of Animal Health was formed on 1 January 1986 to represent UK companies which research, develop, manufacture and market licensed animal health products. The association has 31 corporate members and 10 associate members. In 2006 the NOAH sales survey showed a total market of £373.2m, around 90% of the total UK market. Graham Dick is a veterinary surgeon. After a number of years in general practice (including as a partner in a large practice in Diss with particular interest in herd health programmes) and a short spell with MAFF, he joined Bayer in Bury St Edmunds as technical products manager. Following nearly 10 years overseas with Bayer Australia and then Bayer HQ in Monheim, in August 2003 he arrived back in UK (this time in Newbury, the Animal Health operation having been moved in the interim to join other Bayer HealthCare divisions at Bayer Headquarters in Newbury) to take over in his current role as Country Divisional Head - Animal Health Division Bayer HealthCare - Bayer plc. He has been involved with NOAH activities during both his spells in the UK.
