NOAH Compendium now released to veterinary practices
The 2008 edition of the NOAH Compendium of Data Sheets
for Animal Medicines has been published and a copy sent to each vet
practice. If your practice has not received its copy, perhaps because you
are a new practice, or have changed address in the past year and not told
NOAH, please contact Emma Tombling at NOAH.
Extra copies are also available to order now, for £37 -
many veterinary surgeons choose to buy extras: perhaps one for the car or
one for each consulting room. There are even special prices for bulk orders.
The book, again contains colour-coded indexes for easier
reference, and a guide to the
cascade. As ever, the
book is an essential information source containing the full data sheets/SPCs
for products from 36 companies.
Once again, NOAH has also produced two special editions
for SQPs, which exclude POM-V medicines. AMTRA has commissioned these
publications and will send the appropriate one to each person registered on
its SQP lists, which now includes increasing numbers of veterinary nurses
who have gained the SQP qualification.
There is a version with all non-POM-V medicines,
primarily for merchant SQPs, and a slimmer version containing just the
companion animal and equine non-POM-V medicines, for SQPs including
veterinary nurses able to supply the equine and/or companion animal
medicines, and SQP staff at pet shops.
Copies of the complete edition and the additional
versions are available from NOAH. See
www.noah.co.uk or
www.noahcompendium.co.uk for more details.

10 January 2008
