Donal Murphy is new NOAH Technical Executive
The National Office of Animal Health (NOAH) is pleased to
announce the appointment of Donal Murphy as its new technical executive.
Donal, a veterinary surgeon, will be joining NOAH from 11
January.
NOAH chief executive Phil Sketchley says: “We look
forward to working with Donal and to the skills which he, as a veterinary
surgeon, will bring. One of his major roles will be input to the review of
the European veterinary medicines directive, which starts next year. This
represents a fantastic opportunity to ensure a healthy future for animal
medicine innovation and availability in the UK.”

- Donal Murphy has most recently been employed as a
Veterinary Officer with Reigate Animal Health Office, an agency of the
Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. From Dublin, he
qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1999, and has experience in both
large and small animal veterinary practice.
