NOAH's chairman for 2010
Bob Parmenter has been elected as the Chairman of NOAH
(National Office of Animal Health). He takes over from Howard Wilder,
following this year’s NOAH AGM in London on the 21st April. Bob Parmenter is
the Managing director of the UK and Ireland for Dechra Veterinary Products.
Bob has spent nearly 40 years in the animal health
industry and joined the NOAH Board in 2002.
He said: “I am looking forward to the year ahead, working
with the team from member companies during a period of intense change and
challenge. NOAH already represents a wide cross section of the industry but
we are always eager to welcome new members to NOAH, to share the benefits of
working together.”

The National Office of Animal
Health was formed on 1 January 1986 to represent UK companies which
research, develop, manufacture and market licensed animal health
products. The association has 28 corporate members and 7 associate
members. In 2009 the NOAH sales survey showed a total market of £452m,
around 90% of the total UK market.
