Health for Animals

HealthforAnimals is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation representing companies and industry associations from both developed and developing countries. HealthforAnimals represents the animal health sector: manufacturers of veterinary pharmaceuticals, vaccines and other animal health products throughout the world, as well as the associations that represent companies at national and regional levels.

AnimalhealthEurope

AnimalhealthEurope is the voice of the animal medicines industry in Europe. It represents both corporate members and national animal health associations in Europe. These associations comprise both local medium-size enterprises (SMEs) and international companies. Its membership covers 90% of the European market for veterinary products.

Agri-Supply Coalition

The Coalition, which represents nine trade and professional associations concerned in the supply of goods, advice and services to the agriculture sector, offers a one-stop shop for engagement between government and the supply industries which consist of a wide range of businesses including multinational businesses, small and medium size enterprises and individual consultants and contractors.

The AgriSupply Coalition comprises the Agricultural Engineers Association, Agricultural Industries Confederation, British Society of Plant Breeders, Central Association of Agricultural Valuers, Crop Protection Association, Grain and Feed Trade Association, International Meat Trade Association, National Association of Agricultural Contractors and NOAH.

The member businesses of the nine trade associations are estimated to be responsible for the supply of some £14 billion of goods advice and services.

AMTRA

AMTRA is an independent regulatory body whose task it is to ensure that the marketing and distribution of animal medicines in the UK is undertaken in a responsible manner. NOAH is represented on the Board and Council of AMTRA.

CANTER

CANTER (Controlling ANTiparasitic resistance in Equines Responsibly) aims to lead a coordinated approach to antiparasitic use and stewardship to combat AR in equine parasites in the UK.

Canine and Feline Sector Group

NOAH is a member of the CFSG, set up to advise Government on behalf of the sector on strategically important dog and cat health and welfare issues and standards.

COWS

COWS (Control of Worms Sustainably) is an industry stakeholder group which aims to promote best practice in the control of cattle parasites.

RUMA

RUMA is a unique initiative involving organisations representing every stage of the “farm to fork” process, RUMA (The Responsible Use of Medicines in Agriculture) Alliance aims to promote a co-ordinated and integrated approach to best practice in the use of medicines. NOAH is one of the founder members.

RUMA CA&E

RUMA CA&E was inspired by the success of UK farm animal sectors in reducing antibiotic use during the previous five years and will draw on those learnings to help protect important medicines for future human and animal use.

This collaboration covers the responsible use of medicines in dogs, cats, rabbits, small mammals, exotic animals kept as pets, and equids.

Ruminant Health and Welfare

Ruminant Health & Welfare is an independent, industry-based body tasked with helping farmers and stock managers tackle sheep and cattle disease, and build the health and welfare status, resilience and production efficiency of our national flock and herd.

SCOPS

SCOPS (Sustainable Control of parasites in Sheep) is an industry led group that represents the interests of the sheep industry. It recognises that, left unchecked, anthelmintic resistance (AR) is one of the biggest challenges to the future health and profitability of the UK sheep industry. NOAH is amongst the representative organisations.
