Does your pet love to play?
If your pet loves to play, the National Office of Animal Health (NOAH) has the perfect competition for you. As part of its mission to celebrate happy, healthy pets, NOAH is looking for pets that can’t get enough of having fun — a dog engrossed in a game of fetch, a cat playing with a ball of wool or a bunny binkying, we want to see it all!
From 29th June 2015 owners are being asked to submit their photos on the Happy, Healthy Pets Gallery at www.pethealthinfo.org.uk/gallery, to be in with a chance of winning a £250 gift voucher for pet goodies. The photos will be displayed on the gallery to help NOAH build the UK’s biggest picture of pet health.
The “Playful Pets” competition is part of NOAH’s ongoing ‘I heart my pet’ campaign, which aims to promote pet health and wellbeing, with an overall goal of encouraging UK pet owners to seek expert, independent advice on pet healthcare.
The Happy, Healthy Pets Gallery is quickly becoming the UK’s largest ever picture of pet health, made up of photographs submitted by pet owners who love to show off their furry, feathery, finned and scaly extensions of their family.
NOAH Chief Executive, Dawn Howard comments:
“Exercise and play are intrinsic aspects of pet health. Without it, pets are likely to become lethargic, which can lead to other issues like obesity and, in some cases, canine and feline diabetes, not to mention the impact on their mental wellbeing. That such a fun activity like snapping a quick photo when playing or exercising with your pet can help to bring awareness to these issues is fantastic. We’ve been overwhelmed with the participation and support we have received for the gallery already and can’t wait to see the entries for this competition.”
For more information or to submit photos to the gallery, simply visit www.pethealthinfo.org.uk/gallery. Entries uploaded before Tuesday 21st July 2015 will be eligible to win a £250 voucher for pet supplies and treats — (terms and conditions apply). Entrants must ensure they click the pink competition tick-box when uploading their photos.
