Information at your fingertips, standing up for animal health, regulating the industry………NOAH videos highlight the varied roles of the organisation

The National Office of Animal Health (NOAH) has produced two new videos talking about the many and varied roles it plays.

One video is targeted at people outside the animal health industry who are interested in the use of medicines on pets and livestock. It highlights the activities and responsibilities of NOAH in regulating the animal health industry, dispelling myths and demonstrating the role medicines play in maintaining the quality of life of animals.

The second video is aimed at NOAH’s own member companies and outlines some of the successful initiatives with which NOAH has been involved and will be working on in future. It helps explain, for example, how NOAH represents member views in Europe and Westminster, keeps the industry up to date, and provides a host of information through the animal medicines compendium.

Phil Sketchley, chief executive of NOAH, said: “Anyone who has an interest in how and why we use medicines to protect and cure our animals needs to know more about NOAH.

“We’re an information provider, a lobbying organisation, a self-regulatory authority — we have many roles and areas of activity. These videos help us to communicate about all of the varied things we do.”

The films can be viewed on NOAH’s YouTube channel
