Keeping our pets healthy and happy during the COVID-19 pandemic: new advice from NOAH and CFSG

NOAH has worked with the Canine and Feline Sector Group (CFSG) to develop three infographics to help owners ensure their pets stay in the very best of health during these challenging times, where our usual way of life has been affected.

Recognising that pets can struggle with the changes as much as their owners, NOAH and CFSG have produced some pointers to help prevent behaviour and health problems. The three infographics are available on the CFSG pet advice page. They give practical tips, helping solve some of the problems owners may have come across and suggesting where they can get further advice, drawing on the expertise of CFSG members.

There are three graphics:

• Covid 19: Pet Behaviour Advice – what you can do to prevent anxiety in your pet and to resolve any related behaviour issues. Pet Behaviour Advice
• Covid 19: Your Pet’s Health – how you can keep your pet in good health by preventing problems and through a good routine. Your Pet’s Health
• Covid 19 – You and Your Vet – how your veterinary team can continue to support you and your pet during the pandemic. You and Your Vet

The graphics will be supported on social media so pet lovers can share the advice to help the health and welfare of the nation’s pets.
