Book for the new UK Animal Innovation Forum at RVC!
1st July 2024
NOAH is partnering the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) and Paul Dick Associates (Pda) on an important new UK animal health event, the Animal Innovation Forum (AIF). Taking place from 11-13 September, the event takes place at the Royal Veterinary College.
This exciting UK forum will connect the academic community with the animal health industry and other stakeholders and facilitate interaction, collaboration and innovation for the benefit of animals. It will focus on preventative solutions in animal health and seeks to address some of the many challenges facing the livestock and companion animal sectors.
With a programme including panel discussions, keynote presentations, pitch presentations, prearranged 1:1 partnering meetings and facility tours, there is much to interest to NOAH members, as well as others in our sector.
The first 2 days take place at the unique surroundings of the RVC’s historic London campus. With plenty of time for 1:1 partnering meetings and network, the first day features interactive workshops and a keynote welcome address, before a welcome reception. On Day 2 partnering meetings continue, alongside inspiring pitch presentations and two excellent panel discussions on ‘Emerging diseases and the importance of early disease detection’ and ‘Policies and regulations that encourage innovation’. Day 3 of the conference provides a unique opportunity to visit the RVC’s Hertfordshire campus (with transport arranged) to explore the cutting-edge facilities and hear about its world leading research into animal health and innovation, with keynote sessions with a welfare focus.
With its mix of policy, innovation and business, the forum will not only be of interest to participants, at a wider level it will also showcase the importance of animal health industry in the UK, and why it needs to be recognised by policy makers as an integral part of One Health.
