NOAH Compendium App latest upgrade brings new features to give access to the most up-to-date information

The NOAH Compendium App now has daily updating, giving the latest information on 1000+ animal medicines.

The app also includes the ability to scan datamatrix barcodes on veterinary medicinal product packaging leading straight to product information, as well as to search by medication, manufacturer or GTIN.

Along with the App, which is available to download free from the App Store and Googleplay, the compendium can be accessed free of charge online at www.noahcompendium.co.uk. Veterinary practices continue to receive one free book for each premises, with  copies available to purchase at https://www.noah.co.uk/about/publications/.

“The NOAH Compendium is the recognised industry reference, and we are pleased to be able to offer it in many different formats to fit prescribers’ and users’ needs. The app helps us fully utilise the information offered in the compendium with modern technology, whilst protecting the integrity and respect that it holds,” explains Dawn Howard, NOAH’s Chief Executive.

“With the addition of daily updating, our app is even more useful – meaning users are no longer reliant on internet access when they are out and about to obtain the up-to-date information they need. All users need to do is allow their phone to connect to data each day and the app will update automatically.

“As an organisation, we will continue to embrace new technologies to support responsible animal medicine prescribing and use in the UK”.

“Having the Compendium information available in a range of formats means all those who prescribe or use animal medicines can have access to the latest data sheet information however they want it, whenever and wherever they need it,” Dawn concludes.
