Showcasing NOAH’s support for the vet profession
12th November 2019
Did you know all NOAH company representatives that visit veterinary practices need to be on the NOAH Certificate of Animal Health (NCAH) register? The spotlight on the NOAH stand, F65, will be on NCAH-qualified personnel at this year’s London Vet Show. They will be visiting the stand, from across the spectrum of NOAH member companies, to promote their qualification, which shows that #AnimalHealthMatters.
The NCAH qualification, academically accredited by Harper Adams University, helps ensure that animal medicines representatives can provide accurate and up to date information to prescribers and sellers of animal medicines in compliance with the NOAH Code of Practice for the Promotion of Animal Medicines. It is just one of NOAH’s initiatives to support the veterinary profession. Also featured on the NOAH stand is the renowned reference for vets, the NOAH Compendium of Data Sheets in all its formats, and the recently developed Animal Medicines Best Practice (AMBP) training programme for best practice antibiotic use.
“NOAH represents over 97% of the animal medicines sector,” explained NOAH chief executive Dawn Howard. “Our member companies are an excellent resource on the medicines you prescribe, whether through the people that visit you, or through our NOAH Compendium. We will be seeking feedback on the Compendium at the show, so we continue to provide the information how you need it.
“We will also be highlighting how vets can use our AMBP training programme to engage with farmer clients on antibiotic best practice. We have downloadable materials your practice can use for face to face discussions with your clients about responsible antibiotic use. It’s set up for you to use however you prefer,” said Dawn.
Come to visit stand F65 to find out more.
